With a 50-
degree total angle of ad-
justment, the swivel is
engineered to maximize
efectiveness and the
entrainment of room
air while minimizing
compressed air consumptions. The swivel will work with any
1 NPT nozzle or ftting, regardless of a male or female thread.
The company claims the swivel is safe to operate and meets
OSHA's standard 1910.242(b) for pressure and OSHA's noise
exposure standard 29CFR–1910.95(a). Exair's nozzles are also
CE compliant.

Chemour's Vertrel Sion Replaces
Harmful Chemistries
Chemours' methoxytride-
cafuoroheptene (MPHE)
has been approved by
the U.S. Environmen-
tal Protection Agency
for commercialization.
MPHE, or Vertrel Sion, is
a stable fuid that does
not require acid testing or
stabilizer maintenance.
The company claims this
fuid is a non-fammable
replacement for trichloro-
ethylene, perchloroethy-
lene, n-propyl bromide
(nPB), HCFC-225, alcohol, acetone, MEK and other fuids where
maximum cleaning power is needed. This fuid is approved for
use in vapor degreasers, aerosol dispensers and adhesive ap-
plications, and is being commercialized by MicroCare in North
America. MicroCare plans to roll out the product in the fourth
quarter of 2015 leading into early 2016.
