32 JANUARY 2016 — pfonline.com Chemetall's Oxsilan Pretreatment Products Protects Against Corrosion Chemetall's Oxsilan pretreatment products are engineered as an alternative to zinc phosphate processes. These eco-friendly, multi-metal products are designed to withstand cyclic corro- sion testing, outdoor exposure, neutral salt spray and more. The products form a dual coating, which is more robust than simple zirconium coatings alone. Chemetall says Oxsilan is based on organofunctional silanes that are specially synthesized to deliver high performance when used with modern electrocoat paints. These silanes react and form strong chemical bonds with both the substrate and the paint to form a lasting bond. Chemetall US Inc. / 800-526-4473 / chemetallus.com EPSI's 3D Printing Increases Eficiency EPSI's 3D printing and rapid prototyping is a part of its Custom Mold program, which provides customers with a quicker and more economical alternative to masking with standard products. According to the company, this program should enable EPSI to deliver a prototype made from digital material for form and ft testing in as little as 1–2 days. Inc.'s (F.A.S.T) EDCell is a 1.5" and 2" tu- bular anolyte cell designed for electrocoat users to quickly disconnect and separate the anolyte cell into diferent sections. The company claims that this cell will reduce the overall cost of ownership and will save users up to 45 percent in replace- ment costs. This design is coupled with a welded membrane seam said to improve its chemical compatibility to cleaning and sanitizing agents, pro- vide a more robust seal and increase the efective membrane area by having a minimal ½" seam overlap down the length of the membrane. The cell's design enables the anode to be fully rotated without disassembly. Filtration and Separation Technology Int'l Inc. / 219-325-0005 / fastecoat.com Gusher's Pull-Out Series Minimizes Maintenance and Downtime Gusher Pumps' 7600 vertical top pull-out series pumps are de- signed to minimize maintenance. Features of the series include capacities up to 4,000 GPM, heavy-duty bearings, construction materials, a top pull-out design and ex- ternal impeller adjustment. The rotating element is removable without disturb- ing the mounting plate or piping, and all 7600 series have external impeller adjustments for maintenance ease and eficiency. All models come with motor- aligning screws, which cut coupling adjustment time. This series is en- gineered for diferent applications such as electrocoat systems, spray booths, fltration systems, industrial spray washers, phosphate systems, paint systems and coolant systems. The line is formulated to provide corrosion resistance with optimal edge protection, throwpower and fow. These coatings are designed for OEMs in the automotive and transpor- tation industries, and also used for vehicle components and other industrially manufactured goods, such as radiators. Eisenmann's Moveable Hoist System Moves Large Parts Eisenmann's Moveable Hoist System (MHS) was developed as space-saving solution for moving large loads up to 11 tons through pretreatment and assembly. The company says this system can run with any combination of passive trolleys and transfer bridges which are operated by friction wheel drives and transfer systems. The system uses only longitudinal and trans- verse movements and the design is said to result in lower capital costs and meets the needs of many applications.
