Anolyte Cell Resources' ACT Technology
Eliminates Cross-Linking
Anolyte Cell Resources' Anolyte Temperature Controller is
designed to eliminate premature cross- linking of solids in the
electrocoat tank, due to excessive temperatures generated by
anolyte cells. Cross-linking causes paint buildup on the outside
of the anolyte cells. This technology uses a temperature sensor
integrated into the ThinCell sensor, which provides isolated data
to a standalone controller. This keeps the cell performing at opti-
mal levels, while reducing dirt build-up in the paint bath, which,
in turn, reduces paint waste in the bath, enables chillers to be
less labored and provides longer life to bag and UF flters.

Baker Technology's Q-Series Uses
Modular Switchmode Technology
Baker Technology Associates Inc.'s Q-Series
electrocoat power supply product line
uses modular switchmode technology to
meet demanding electrocoat application
requirements for regulation, low ripple, ef-
fciency, power factor, size and weight. This line has output
voltages up to 450V and output currents from 50A to thousands of
amps. The line is customizable with specially designed controls for
manual operations to set the current value to indicate end of cycle,
automatic shut-of and an audible alarm.
In addition to the electrocoat rectifers, the Q-Series product line
ofers a rectifer for plating and anodizing applications.
