Plating Eductors Maximize
Solution Shearing Action at Part Surface
Bex will display plating eductors, which create turbulent solution
flow without air spargers or impellers, both of which are said to
introduce air, steam and contaminants into plating tanks. The
eductors are designed to maximize solution shearing action
at the surface of the part to be plated. Optimized solution flow
improves throwing power, the company says.
The eductors' venturi design enables smaller pumps to cir-
culate large volumes of tank solution, circulating as much as
five times the pump output, with a discharge plume broader
than jets from a solid stream nozzle of equivalent energy, the

Paint Booths Combine Standard Designs,
Custom Solutions
Global Finishing Solutions' General Purpose paint booths
combine standard, pre-engineered solutions with custom and
auxiliary options. They are designed to accommodate industrial
customers with products too large for traditional automotive
booths, but too small for the company's Large Equipment paint
booth line.
Serving the intermediate truck and automotive refinish
industry, the booths measure 14 ƞ. wide; height can range
from 10 to 14 ƞ.; and, using 3-ƞ.-wide vertical panels, modu-
lar lengths of 24, 27, 30 and 33 ƞ. are available. Every system
starts with a basic booth design and standard package of
features. From there, customers can choose from a variety of
add-ons, options and customized features that can be easily
incorporated without changing the standard design, the
company says.
