him as global market direc-
tor for general aviation

Asterion has appointed Spencer Curnutte
technical sales representative for the western
Ohio and eastern Kentucky areas.
The Powder Coating Research Group has
relocated to a new facility in Columbus, Ohio,
which boasts a 3,000-square-foot operation,
including an expanded processing area, two
isolated spray rooms, a comprehensive test-
ing lab and conference room. The group will host the 2017 PC
Summit this month at the Columbus Westin and in its new lab.

Nordson, Axalta join with PCI
to Award Scholarships
Nordson Corp. and Axalta Coating Sys-
tems recently joined with the Powder
Coating Institute (PCI) in awarding
scholarships.
Nordson and PCI awarded a $5,000
scholarship to Benjamin Whipker,
who attends the Rochester Institute of
Technology and is studying electrical
mechanical engineering technology.
Axalta and PCI named Theodore
Hammer as the winner of the 2017
PCI/Axalta Scholarship. He will receive
$5,000 towards his graduate degree in
Polymer Science from the University
of Akron.
