The event will kick off with a classroom-style program to familiarize attendees with ecoat technology before tackling more advanced topics, including cost and process efficien- cies, quality control, and innovative technologies used in the different components of an ecoat line. Preventive mainte- nance and troubleshooting for defects will also be addressed. The event will conclude with a plant tour of PPG Coat- ings Services–MetoKote Corp. in Sheffield Village, Ohio. Global Finishing Solutions Hosts Industrial Distributors at Wisconsin Headquarters NASF Michigan Seminar Draws Technical Experts, Inspirational Speaker The Michigan chapter of the National Association for Surface Finishing held its Midwest Seminar in August at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan, drawing finishers from across the state to hear technical experts and inspirational speakers, including highly decorated retired Navy Seal Robert J. O'Neill. O'Neill was involved in some of our nation's most strategic military campaigns and led the military's most elite teams. He was deployed more than a dozen times and held leader- ship roles in more than 400 combat missions across four different theaters of war.
