FABTECH ON DISPLAY Plural Component System Universal-Mount Spray Nozzles Binks' EMS (Electronic Mix Solutions) plural component system is designed to handle ratios from 1:1 to 100:1 with hardener fow rates as low as 2 cc (0.07 oz) per min. The system can be confgured for as many as six colors and two guns, with or without gun fush boxes. Material waste is said to be reduced as much as 60 cc (2 oz) on every color change, and the programmable fush is said to lower solvent waste as much as 65 percent. Binks' EMS control system provides straightforward data entry, clear displays and simple functions on an easy-to-use keypad. New users need less training and the unit incorporates troubleshooting features, the company says. Binks / Booth S5345 / binks.com BEX Inc. will exhibit a series of universal-mount spray nozzle assemblies. Available in both T-tip and atomizing confgurations, the nozzles feature a universal mounting system that enables a single nozzle in a multi-nozzle line to be removed for quickdisconnect maintenance and/or replacement. Made of nickel-plated brass or stainless steel, the nozzles come in a choice of round, wide-angle round and fat spray patterns, and are built to provide uniform distribution of the atomized spray. Powder Thickness Oven Data Logging Dry Film Thickness Physical Test The Elcometer 550 ultrasonic thickness gauge accurately predicts cured thickness of powder on metal, plastic, wood and MDF to a resolution of 1 micron. The Elcometer 215 is an easy to use oven data recorder, used to measure and store the temperature profles of both the sample and the oven during the cure process. 40% faster than other coating thickness gauges, the Elcometer 456 provides faster, more accurate and repeatable readings. Elcometer offer a wide range of test equipment to assess parameters including: abrasion, hardness, elasticity, elongation, deformation and gloss. sales@elcometer.com 54 OCTOBER 2013 — pfonline.com USA & Canada: (800) 521-0635 www.elcometer.com
