FINISHING AT FABTECH FABTECH Attracts 35,000+ To Chicago CCAI's Finishing Pavilion and Conference at FABTECH Breaks Records and Ofers Outstanding Educational Presentations Going on its fourth year, the CCAI Finishing Pavilion and Conference at Fabtech has proven to be one of the premiere events for industrial finishers, with more than 160 exhibiting companies showcasing products and services. Running Nov. 18-21 in Chicago, Fabtech 2013's show floor features over 1,500 exhibitors covering more than 550,000 sq ft of exhibit space. The anticipated attendance is more than 35,000 from around the globe. "We are so pleased with the growth of CCAI's Finishing Pavilion at Fabtech," said Anne Goyer, CCAI Executive Director. "We know that manufacturers have limited time today to visit trade shows. Being able to attend one show where they can take in all finishing-related technologies and other manufacturing processes in their plant has been a big draw for end users." Attendees at this year's show will have the opportunity to see more live demonstrations and learn about a wide variety of finishing-related new products during their visit to Fabtech. Beyond CCAI's expanded Finishing Pavilion, it also boasts a world-class technical conference, including more than 40 hours of finishing educational sessions. This year CCAI's popular "Emerging Technologies" session returns with a twist: Each attendee who registers for any finishing conference session will be eligible to attend the 36 OCTOBER 2013 — "Emerging Technologies" session at no cost, a $175 savings. In addition to the Emerging Technologies session, CCAI's Finishing Conference offers important information for both finishing newcomers and industry veterans. Basic sessions cover electrocoating, system design, powder coating, cleaning and pretreatment, and running efficient paints systems. The Finishing Essentials sessions cover how to achieve excellent finishes, getting hooked on paint racks, manual powder coating and finishing operations impact on our environment. In addition, innovative sessions discuss mechanical finishing, porcelain enamel, cost savings for powder coating, application equipment, getting ready for an OSHA or EPA visit and more. There is also a series of free special events including new product presentations on the show floor, a manufacturer's executive outlook, accelerating performance through flawless execution and more. Attendees can register for the exhibits for free until November 15, by entering Priority Code FB13 during the on-line registration process at Thereafter, a $50 registration fee applies for the show. Finishing Pavilion exhibitors can also provide guests with a show ticket that will allow free on-site show registration.
