Dust Collectors Designed to Be Highly Efficient
Tri-Mer offers wet and dry pollution-control systems, includ-
ing the Whirl/Wet dust collector, which is said to be 99-percent
efficient for a range of applications and micron sizes. Benefits
include low operating cost, low water usage, and no internal
moving parts or maintenance items to replace. The company's
Tri-Flow dry dust collector is designed to deliver HEPA-level
performance, and also is said to be 99.999-percent efficient on
+0.5-micron particulate.
Other wet systems include packed-bed tower scrubbers,
cross-flow scrubbers and chrome scrubbers that can remove
pollutants such as particulate, sulfer dioxide, hydrochloride,
hydrogen fluoride, chlorine, nitrogen oxide, odors and hexava-
lent chrome.

Entry-Level Automatic Spray Coating System

The U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries of Germany's Venjakob Mas-
chinenbau GmbH, Nutro Inc. and Venjakob North America, will
demonstrate the Ven Spray Mini, an entry-level au-
tomatic spray coating system,
as well as a coating
solution consisting
of a spray robot
and a chain-
on-edge
conveyor
system.
The
companies
also will be
introducing a new system that
combines the advantages of a dry separa-
tion system (low purchase and operating costs, and no un-
pleasant odors due to breakdown products) and the benefits
of a water-backed system (clean booth and constant exhaust
air capacity). This new design is said to be ideal for high and
low paint throughput, and to produce high-quality finishes.
