40 OCTOBER 2017 — PFonline.com Configurable Powder System Integrates Processes, Handling Parker Ionics will introduce its Configurable Compact Shuttle System (CCSS) for powder coating, which integrates pretreat- ment, drying and curing, and powder coating with an effective handling system. The system offers the flexibility of positioning process equipment in multiple orientations to fit into virtually any available space. It also offers a variety of process choices, including chemical pretreatment and blasting. It can accommo- date a range of part sizes and weights. Multiple load, unload and cooling spurs are designed to increase line productivity. George Koch Sons LLC / kochllc.com / Booth A6131 Pump, Spray Gun Technology on Display Carlisle Fluid Technologies will showcase products under the Binks, Ransburg and DeVilbiss finishing brands. Binks' new air-operated DX200-3 is a 3:1-ratio, double- diaphragm pump suited for multiple spray gun, system and transfer applications. Ransburg's new RansFlex direct-charge electrostatic applicator is compatible with waterborne-based materials, and its RansFlex manual spray gun features trigger technology that enables the gun to quickly go from a full spray to a round spray. Available in various machine-mounting configurations, DeVilbiss's new AG-360 series automatic spray guns are designed to provide high- performance atomization for indus- trial low-pressure and air-assisted airless applications. Carlisle Fluid Technologies / carlisle.com / Booth A6216 Scanning Probes Speed Coating Thickness Testing Among the products Elcometer will display are three Ultra/Scan scanning probes for its Elcometer 456 coating thickness gage designed to measure dry film thickness on ferrous or non-ferrous metal substrates. The gage features memory capacity of as many as 150,000 readings in as many as 2,500 individual batches with alpha-numeric identifica- tion and output to ElcoMaster soƞware. Measurement accuracy is ±1 percent on smooth, rough, thin and curved surfaces, and measuring speed is more than 70 readings per minute (140+ with the Ultra/Scan probes). The probes come fitted with "snap-on" replace- able plastic end caps so that the sliding action of the scan does not cause wear to the tips. They use the gage's offset feature to ensure that the thickness of the cap is included in the calibration adjustment process and discounted from the thickness readings.
