The Mexican Association for Surface Finishing (AMAS)
continues to support the exponential growth of the
finishing industry with its Surface Finishing Mexico
(SFM) show from March 13-15 at the Queretaro Centro de
Congresos in Queretaro, Mexico.
Surface Finishing Mexico is an effort to consolidate all
of the surface finishing industrial sector, integrating the
main players in powder coating, electrocoat, liquid painting,
electroplating, pretreatment systems, water management
systems, laboratory equipment and more.
"This is the only event in Mexico that brings together the
main players of the whole supply chain of the plating and
coating industry in one place," says Abelardo González,
president of AMAS.
Thanks to the success of the first show, SFM presents the
second edition of this international event with more than
4,000 square meters of exhibition presenting the latest
innovative technologies of over 16 countries from three
continents, 18 technical conferences and three specialized
training courses recognized worldwide.
The event is expected to receive more than 2,000 visitors
in the pursuit of updated knowledge and the latest in
advanced technologies.
Attendees will join more than 170 national exhibitors
from industries covering the top trends at the forefront of
surface finishing including sectors such as automotive, aero-
space, electronic and others.
AMAS is a non-profit association that has sought to
enhance the educational, innovative and business impact
within the surface finishing industry in Mexico.
With over 28 percent of annual growth in the surface
finishing market worldwide, free trade agreements with
over 44 countries, Mexico is a growing market for industrial
finishing.
