600°F Truck Oven From Grieve
Grieve's No. 936 600°F (316°C) truck oven is used for high-temp
processing of parts at customers' facility. The oven has 5"
insulated walls, a top-mounted heat chamber and Type 304 2B
finish stainless steel interior. Features also include a stainless
steel exterior with #4 brushed finish, solenoid operated door
Hubbard-Hall's Aquastrip ACB Stripper Removes
Powder, Wet paint, CARC Coatings
Hubbard-Hall's aqueous paint stripper Aquastrip ACB is said to
achieve a potential increase in productivity of 22 percent, and
save up to 85 percent in masking material expenses. It can be
used to strip masking materials as many as six to seven times.
This non-hazardous paint stripper can strip powder, wet paint
and CARC coatings from masking materials, ferrous and non-fer-
rous metals. In a recent case, Aquastrip stripped a CARC coating
in 20 to 120 minutes; a similar product used for the same purpose
took over 24 hours. Aquastrip ACB can be used at temperatures
ranging from 100°F to 180°F, however lower temperatures will
result in longer strip times and higher temperatures will result in
shorter bath lives. Therefore, Hubbard-Hall recommends 150°F as
the optimum operating temperature. Other beneficial features in-
clude the product's ability to break the adhesion of the coating in
sheets, providing a longer bath life. Fabtech 2016 attendees can
