INNOVATIONS PRODUCTS FINISHING — pfonline.com 47 Send new product information to jlarkin@pfonline.com Kolene Fluidized Beds Strip Paint and Degrease Kolene's fuidized bed paint stripping systems are engineered non-chemical stripping. The hot sand or ceramic behaves as a liquid, quickly transferring heat into the workload and absorbing heat from the burning organic coating. This process is designed to minimize part distortion caused by overheating. It ofers similar process behaviors to molten salt, though at a slower stripping speed. Integrated abatement systems assure compli- ance with environmental discharge limits and the systems have a cycle time between 30 and 60 min. Common applications for these stripping systems include: paint stripping, plastic removal, degreasing and more. Kolene Corp. / 800-521-4182 / kolene.com Wagner's 2K Comfort Flex Reduces Solvent Waste Wagner's 2K comfort mixing and dosing system is designed for com- plex multicolor applications. The system can process up to 25 colors and four components simultane- ously, and enables color changes in less than a minute, giving the user more fexibility for his coating process. The company says that system automatically adapts to changing working conditions and saves up to 90 percent of solvents during color changes. Wagner Industrial Solutions / 800-473-2524 / wagnersystemsinc.com Nordson's Mobile Spray System Boosts Quality Nordson Corp.'s Encore HD mobile spray system is designed with Nordson's fourth generation dense phase spray technol- ogy. The system is engineered to achieve a highly dense phase spray, a more diluted mixture and anything in between. HD technology delivers a high concentration of powder, while using very little air. As a result, the company claims the system provides greater transfer eficiency, less overspray and supe- rior cured fnish quality for many part types. The system is said to boost quality improvements by 20 percent. Nordson Corp., Industrial Coating Systems / 800-433-9319 / nordson.com United Surface Solutions' Deburring Machine Uses G-Force United Surface Solutions' CNC centrifugal barrel deburr- ing machine combines the centrifugal barrel process with computer programming to manage fnishes and burr removal, depending on part requirements. Extreme G-force, generated by centrifugal motion, grinds and removes burrs and fash on annealed and heat-treated metals, hard plastics and rubber, casting and more. The machine's touch-screen controls enable simple programming with storage capa- bilities. This machine is designed for manufacturers serving the aerospace, med- ical, automotive and jewelry industries. The machines include a complete water recycling system to process wastewater accumulated by the deburring process. United Surface Solutions / 562-693- 0202 / deburring.com Caplug's Rubber Masking Cap-Plugs Protect Copper Tubes Caplugs' RMCP-SH series of rubber masking cap-plugs protect a variety of copper inlet and outlet tubes on HVAC compressor units. These cap-plugs are designed to work as both a masking and sealing part, eliminating the need for two separate masks. The company says its styrene-butadiene rubber material can even be resealed afer nitrogen charging. Caplugs / 888-227-5847 / caplugs.com
