red Heater Bank Boost System is designed
to quickly raise the temperatures of liquid
and powder coated small, medium and
large three-dimensional products prior to
the entrance to or in the frst zone of an ex-
isting hot air convection oven. The system
features pre-piped banks of quality gas
catalytic heaters, gas train and controls.
System can be used in front of an existing
system as a stand-alone oven in a two-coat
process or as a boost system with an exist-
ing hot air/convection oven.

ElektroPhysik's SmarTest App (available at Google Play Store)
measures coating thickness using Bluetooth connectivity. The
ElektroPhysik's SIDSP digital sensors send readings directly to
Smartphones or Tablets, and are stored on the SmarTest App
along with statistical data that can be easily emailed as an at-
tachment from a smart device. Currently, the SmarTest platform

Waterborne Coatings Designed for Weatherability
Sherwin-Williams' KEM AquaFluor 5001 and 5002 premium
waterborne coatings are formulated with Kynar Aquatec
polyvinylidene fuoride (PVDF) resin. These coatings provide
weatherability and reduce excessive heat buildup across all
colors. According to the company, the coatings are designed
to meet the rigid AAMA 615 requirements for superior perfor-
mance coatings on plastic profles. Vinyl is energy-eficient
and cost efective, making these coatings ideal for commer-
cial window customers.
KEM AquaFluor 5001 is a single-component, waterborne
product. The KEM AquaFluor 5002 product requires mixing
of two components. Both products are formulated with solar
refective technology designed to reduce heat buildup in
dark colors.
