Jefrey Sands, AIAC vice president, says the acquisition will further enhance AIAC's relationships in the worldwide automotive and appliance industries, and support portfolio companies iP3 Plastics and Arnprior Rapid Manufacturing Solutions Inc. "We are very pleased to welcome GSP's highly skilled work- force and its 82 year heritage of producing quality coatings for some of the top manufacturers in North America," Sands says. "GSP provides AIAC companies and its global customers valuable technical capabilities." General Super Plating President J.T. Jacus says his company also is delighted to join AIAC. Founded in 1932, General Super Plating specializes in plating decorative, protective and functional fnishes on plastics and metals, and will continue to operate from its 77,000-square-foot facility in East Syracuse, where the company employs more than 100 people.
