SRG Global's Irapuato, Mexico, facility is expanding to more than
double its size. Located east of Guadalajara and northwest of
Mexico City, in the state of Guanajuato, the expansion will add
215,000 square feet to the existing 205,000-square-foot facility,
and will provide complete part production capability, including
injection molding, chrome plating and assembly. The expansion
is expected to be operational in 2015, according to Dave Prater,
SRG Global president and CEO.
American Plating Power has launched a new website,
americanplatingpower.com . The company says the site will serve
as a platform for showcasing its expanded power solutions, as
well as related equipment and services for the industrial market.
In addition to detailed product specifcations, the website ofers
360-degree views of American Plating Power technologies as
well as an extensive product brochure library.
Barney Bosse, CEO of Cleaning Technologies Group, accepted
the Crystal Award for Excellence from Ohio's Edison Technology
Centers in March. The presentation was made by the Edison
Centers Director Council during a luncheon held at the Ohio
Statehouse, and was attended by state legislators and executives
from other innovative companies.
Sharon Gantenbein has joined the Aerodyne Alloys' metals
service center team as an inside sales representative. With more
than 25 years of experience in the metals industry, she will focus
her eforts on Aerodyne accounts in the Northeast and Midwest.
MetoKote Corp. was selected as Supplier of the Year by Elster
Perfection. Jef Oravitz, CEO and president, and Jon Barrett, VP
of business development, accepted the award for the company.
Two Pavco products have achieved approval for use under
General Motors' GMW 4700 Type B specifcation, representing
high nickel alloy applications. The company's NiClipse C chloride
alternative and Ziniloy 3028 alkaline chemistry join Pavco's Ziron
alkaline zinc iron system, which previously gained approved for
use in both clear and black applications.

"Electroplating Know-How Basics" seminar in Spanish. This
