Argon Masking Corp. / Booth 631 / argonusa.com Non-Phosphorous Pretreatment Chemetall's Gardobond AP 9811 is a non-phosphorous pretreatment for three-stage spray washers that is designed to replace iron phosphate processes. It can provide salt spray performance that is equal to or better than many of those iron phosphate processes, the company says. The pretreatment is compatible with mild steel equipment and with typical city water, eliminating the need for expensive stainless steel, and reverse osmosis or deionized water equipment. It is environmentally friendly and biodegradable, and operates at ambient temperature, decreasing processing costs.
