According to the company, the pumps' bolted configuration ensures total product containment while the liquid path reduces internal friction to maximize output and efficiency. The series also includes drop-in configurations that enable the pumps to be installed in existing footprints without the need to disturb the piping. These drop-in pumps have a larger flow path, resulting in increased flow rates and decreased energy consumption over other AODD pumps. The brochure also includes an easy-to-navigate schematic drawing illustrating where Advanced series pumps can be used in traditional paint and coatings operations. Industrial Infrared Heater Suited for Contaminated Environments The SFA-Q industrial infrared heater from Radiant Energy Systems features a quartz plate in front of stamped-foil elements that enables infrared energy to pass through to the product while ensuring that the heater remains isolated from the process. Flowing air cools the plate and internal heater components while simultaneously pressurizing the heater. This pressurization and purging ensures contaminates do not enter the heater housing nor become exposed to the heating elements. The heater is specifically designed for operating in difficult environments like solvent or dusty applications and corrosive atmospheres. It also can also be placed within many classifications of clean-room environments. The SFA-Q's elements are designed to heat up and respond quickly to different set points. Additionally, it needs less time to cool down than a typical quartz face heater, the company says. Radiant Energy Systems, call 800-486-7786 or visit radiantenergy.com. n
