formulated to produce a clean,
smut-free surface on die-cast
aluminum.
According to the company,
die-cast aluminum is difficult
to clean and de-smut properly
because the high silicon content
in the alloy sits on top of the part
and is not removed by most desmut chemistry. Al-Brite works at
room temperature for 60-90 sec,
and aluminum parts come out of the de-smut looking as good as
any ���normal��� rolled alloy, the company says.
