Partscleanin g Products Automated System Washes Large Parts Parts Cleaner Has Energy-Efficiency Features NexGen Enviro Systems XTR Wash automated washing system is available in either pneumatic or electric operation to accommodate either solvent-based or aqueous washing of large parts. The system features two wheeled trolleys with rollers for ease of loading heavy components. The washing medium, either solvent or water-based, is stored in a service tank to avoid evaporative loss and air pollution. The rinsing solvent or water is stored in external drums or tanks to ensure maximum cleaning quality. Emptying the service tank, as well as rinsing with the recovered solvent or water, can be accomplished either manually or automatically. The XTR Wash is completely constructed from 304 stainless steel and is available in three standard sizes or can be customized. NexGen Enviro Systems Inc., call 800-842-1630 or visit nexgenenviro.com. The Rosink Cleaner ECO (RCE) is designed to be an energyefficient parts cleaning machine, featuring a molded plastic lid for reduced weight and improved insulation, and a double-walled stainless steel machine housing that provides full insulation of the washing chamber and tank. A height-adjustable drying system with inline heater also is said to contribute to the machines energy efficiency. Additional features such as an oil skimmer, full-flow filtration and a stainless steel tub make the RCE especially suited for intermediate or final cleaning of small and mid-size parts. With its relatively low weight, the machine can be used as a stationary or mobile cleaning unit. It is available in 850 mm and 1,250 mm diameter sizes. Rosink GmbH + Co. Biodegradable Cleaner Replaces Hazardous Solvents AmberClean DF2 is an all-purpose, non-toxic, biodegradable cleaner from Innovative Organics, one of four companies in Saint-Gobains Surface Conditioning Group. Its formula replaces hazardous solvents for cutting through and removing tough soils like grease, oil, hydraulic fluid and dirt from a variety of surfaces. The cleaner can be used in concentrated form for tough degreasing jobs or diluted with water as a clear solution for lighter soils. It can safely clean fiberglass, metal, ceramic, granite, marble, plastic, sealed wood and other surfaces, the company says. Biobased Cleaner Removes Heavy Soils UF System Extends Cleaning Solution Bath Life Iosso Products biobased Safe-T-Solve industrial strength cleaner/degreaser is formulated to remove heavy grease and oil, adhesives, petroleum residues and other soils. Parts to be cleaned can be sprayed with or dipped in the cleaner, then rinsed with clean water or wiped with a rag. Safe-T-Solve also may be used in parts cleaning systems. The solution is water-based, non-petroleum and biodegradable, and has a high flash point and low volatile organic compounds. Safe-T-Solve has earned the USDA Certified Biobased Products label, which verifies that the amount of renewable biobased ingredients meets or exceeds prescribed USDA standards. Iosso Products, call 847-437-8400 or visit iosso.com. The Proceco UF ultrafiltration system is designed to remove emulsified oils from parts cleaning solution baths, extending solution life up to six times, the company says. It also is said to reduce chemical consumption and improve cleaning quality. The UF system features a crossflow filtration configuration that enables a continuous flow rate and is designed to prevent premature oil fouling of membranes. Ceramic membranes offer superior mechanical and chemical resistance properties, increasing membrane service life. The Proceco UF unit also is equipped with an integrated clean-in-place, reducing membrane maintenance requirements and cleaning costs. The systems are available in capacities of 500, 1,200 and 3,200 gal/day. Proceco Ltd., call 800-9786677 or visit proceco.com. 36 JanUaRY 2013
